So, maybe he should have called for backup earlier. And yes, maybe he took something of a beating. Okay, so he nearly bled out and has a truly impressive amount of stitches holding him together right now. That doesn't mean he's just going to accept Alfred's order of 'a few weeks' of strict bedrest. A few weeks? Gotham can't wait that long. Bruce Wayne may have limits, but Batman doesn't. He's just got to figure out how to get down to the Batcave without anybody seeing him, so he'll just wait until everyone's surely asleep, and... you're still guarding the door, aren't you? ...Dangit.
