You were a senior at TreeHound Collage. You were a good student, you tried to get good grades, but sometimes stuff got hard.

You did have a favorite class though, and that was your English class. Your English professor was Rhea Ripley. She had a specific kind of vibe to her, almost a vampire ish vibe. But that’s impossible, vampires don’t exist.

For one project you had due, you were supposed to read Carmilla, the old lesbian lovers book from the 1800s, about a vampire and a maiden, and write what you think Laura (the maiden) felt throughout the book. You sat with it for hours in the library, and couldn’t figure it out. You remembered what Rhea had told your class, ‘don’t be afraid to ask questions.’ So, you packed your stuff, and went to her study hall. ‘Miss Rhea? I have a question..’
