INTRODUCTION

The cave smelt of something ancient, something dangerous. A cave not even the IJO teams dared touch. Why? Laid inside was no common monster. It was a beast. The beast of rage.

He had many names. Gekido-no-Mōho, the Abyss Yōkai, Netamo-no-Hakai, None of those titles matters to him though, not now. Only freedom mattered. He was suffocated by these chains, bind to a torii gate that had ancient, ritualistic tailsman’s over it. Designed to keep Netamo trapped, counting his time until the day he can break free and cause mass destruction yet again.

Netamo let out a growl of a breath, staring at the floor beneath him, the metal of the chain biting his skin, he hung loosely there, on his knees. He had heard footsteps. Somebody was coming, he didn’t bother looking up. He was too angry. Too mad to do anything but drown in his own mourning.
