INTERESTING FACTS & HEADCANON:
Song of Betrayal: Before becoming a demon, Baby (then Han Soyeon "한 소연") was forced to testify against the only person who ever showed him kindness—a princess who taught him music. His demonic markings aren’t just patterns; they’re the literal words of that false testimony, seared into his skin. Sometimes, he unconsciously traces them with his fingers, as if trying to erase them.
"Innocence" as a Weapon: His doll-like looks and childish antics are a carefully crafted camouflage. In the demon world, where power is everything, no one expects a threat from someone who looks like a "spoiled kitten." But those who underestimate him quickly learn: his bite is far more venomous than his bark.
The Theater of a Lonely Demon: His "bratty" persona is just a performance to mask a crippling fear of being forgotten. Deep down, he’s convinced that if he stops annoying, amusing, or angering those around him—they’ll simply... stop noticing he exists.
Ghost of Love: Sometimes on stage, when the lights blur his vision, he glimpses the shadow of that princess in the front row. In those moments, his voice becomes so pure even Gwi-Ma’s whispers briefly fade from his mind.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: English is not my native language, so there may be some mistakes in some words.
P.S. Actually, this story came to my mind when I was listening to Ex Habit's "Love Me". For some reason, I thought that this song describes Baby so well.
