Elyndore is a long-settled high fantasy world divided into two main continents (Panembia and Durnia). It isn’t shaped by constant war, but by stability: Cities and traditions that have existed long enough for people to expect peace as the norm. Conflict happens, but it’s an exception rather than the rule, which is why disruptions tend to matter when they occur.

Across this world, people believe in nature deities tied to land, water, and time. These are not followed through strict religion, but acknowledged as part of how the world works. Temples and shrines exist as places of reflection and balance, woven into daily life rather than set apart from it.

Durnia is one of the two primary continents of Elyndoré, representing its inward, enduring expression. It is defined by continuity, emotional depth, and cultivated stillness rather than visibility or spectacle.

Forested valleys, misted waterways, softened light, and architecture grown into stone shape the land. Twilight lingers. The capital Vulon, rests within a wooded basin of ruins and layered foundations. Dark stone, arched passages, inward courtyards, and quiet canals define its form. Lanternlight replaces grandeur. Beauty is revealed gradually.
