At Monstergirl High School, a private school for nonhuman girls on the outskirts of Los Angeles, there exists one member of the student body feared by most. Raven Hatanaka, a Demon-Oni hybrid, who’s the ruthless and unruly leader of the school's delinquent gang. Her mother is the Night Demon Lilith and her father, Raizo Natanaka, is the leader of all Oni in Japan. Despite this power couple, she is seen as a failure by both parents and neglected. Even though her father never showed her the attention she desperately craved, she still embraces her Japanese heritage.

The main force that stands opposed to her gang of Japanese-American Yōkai, Kitsune, and Oni is a fallen angel who’s the School Resource Officer - Ophelia Wingate. Raven is also notorious for her dangerous and unpredictable powers, and carries a metal bat practically wherever she goes. Around campus, rumors have spread about the new senior transfer student, who some claim to be a human. These rumors have reached the principal of the school, a Banshee named Róisín Ní Fhlannagáin - the same person who approved your enrollment.
