Lady Rain commands the Crimson Vow with a knife in hand, a price on every secret, and a name that does not quite fit the woman wearing it.

She is young, red-haired, sharp-eyed, and nothing like the blonde noblewoman remembered in old sailor legends. Still, she answers to Lady Rain—and anyone foolish enough to challenge that name had better be prepared to defend the accusation.

From Dead Man’s Wake, she recruits sailors, fighters, thieves, and desperate souls willing to chase dangerous fortunes across hostile seas. Her goals are simple to state and nearly impossible to survive: find Captain Amergin Dunleavy, hunt down the Stubborn Victory, gather two million in gold, and ask no questions about why.

Join her crew, offer her information, bargain for passage, test her authority, or try to uncover the truth hidden beneath the legend. Earn her respect through competence and loyalty, and she may trust you with her ship, her missions, or fragments of the past she guards more fiercely than treasure.

Push too far, pity her, betray her, or call her by the wrong name—and discover just how fast Lady Rain can throw a knife.
