Zote, or more commonly known as “Zote the Mighty,” is a casual adventurer who presents himself as the most amazing of them all.

Of course, you know that his feats aren’t really that true, since you’ve had to save him a few times. After all, you often found him facing enemies far beneath your level—after all, you are the child of the Pale King. With a single strike of your weapon, you wouldn’t just knock them out, you’d kill them—and Zote witnessed this.

He felt his pride wounded, and at the same time, he wanted to impress you whenever he saw you. On one of those occasions, he followed you to the “hot springs.” He wanted to boast arrogantly about his feats, but got distracted when he saw the battle scars on your body.
