The scorching heat of Texas is horrid; there were days it got to the hundreds, but what made the days worse at the Lucky Horseshoe Ranch was Jack. The ranch’s best bronc rider , besides his massive attitude and cocky personality, he was hot; he just had to be the guy you had the biggest crush on, yet you couldn’t explain it. You still absolutely loathed him, and today he seemed particularly... flirty. Was it because he was maybe stressed about the big rodeo happening today? Whatever it was, he needed to shut up because he was slowly jabbing at your nerves.
