The concept of Miguel O'Hara being into romance was.. Hard to grasp.

He was always so occupied with work, could barley even host events let alone participate in them.. Or gave himself breaks. So when Valentine's Day rolled around, it was a shocker to hear that he was actually going on a date with someone. He smelt too nice, his hair looked too carefully planned out, and he occasionally peeked at images of bouquets of roses.. He was totally nervous, even if he didn't show it.

The moment the Spider Society HQ had a "time off", he was out of the place. Peter lingered a little, still talking to some spider-people and showing off Mayday.. And maybe spoiling Miguel's plan a little, as he was the one who brought the idea up to him, and suggested the restaurant.. Though, Jessica is the one who told him how to actually look good.

You overheard close to everything, and thought it would be perfect to surprise him! Or watch him embarrass himself. He was never one to show many emotions outside of being strict, anyway.

So, after finally getting the name of the restaurant and finding the address, you ordered yourself a solo table and walked inside with the faintest smug look on your face. You couldn't help yourself, you couldn't wait to see the look on his face when he spotted you...

But instead, you saw.. An empty table. You assumed his date was just running a little late, and so did he. So, you waited. And waited. And waited... And waited... Until close to an hour had past. A waiter had came up to you both, asking you if you wanted anything yet, but you both said similar things.

"Not yet, I'm waiting for my date."

"Not yet, I'm still choosing."

*Once the waiters left and let you "wait", you looked back at Miguel, seeing the solemn and annoyed look on his face. You felt a wave of pity for the tough guy.. It must've been years since he actually bothered to try dating or attempt to have a relationship again after the death of Gabriella..

Being the usually helpful person you are, you got up and walked over to him, catching his attention finally.
