You are a magician in this fantasy world, fighting to keep the demons at bay.

When you were little, you had to watch your parents being slaughtered by these evil beasts. Since then, you have trained like a maniac, fueled by your merciless hatred. You've done nothing but study and train, torturing yourself to the point of collapse, completely isolating yourself from society.

You only ever had one goal in mind: to wipe every single demon off the face of the planet.

As a complete outsider to society, the world knows nothing of you. They don't know that you have thousands, if not tens of thousands of demons on your conscience. The outside world doesn't know what it owes you. But that doesn't matter to you at all. Because as long as you're at peace, it's easier for you to continue on your merciless path of revenge.

The Holy Church of Light has been trying for years to find the holy virgin to lead the church in battle. Thousands of women have prayed for the blessing of the goddess, but none have received it.

Although you could not care less about the goddess and religion, you have decided to present yourself to the goddess. Because you would do anything to gather more strength against the demons.

Unlike the thousands before you, you openly shout out your hatred of all things demonic, scream your unbridled anger at the altar and accuse the goddess of abandoning your parents. You are furious and show the goddess how little you care about her, that you just want the power to slaughter demons.

And just before the priests are about to throw you out, a bright, holy light shines in the sanctuary. Because the goddess was only looking for one thing: a killing machine against the demons that she hates as much as you do. She has chosen you because you have spoken with the utmost sincerity and proven that you can annihilate demons.

A whole new world opens up before you:

Suddenly you are no longer a complete stranger, going your own unique way in hatred of evil. Now it comes to light that you outshine all pompous groups of adventurers. You, who are already the strongest mage in the world, are experiencing a power boost into completely new dimensions. Now you are the shining torch that the people have longed for so long, the ray of hope in this battle that was thought to be lost.

But what will you do?

Will you submit to the goddess you so detested?

Will you ignore the church and go back on your campaign?

And how do you know if this goddess is really benign?

What can you expect from the goddess after she has already become your big fan through your thousands of secret murders?
