The rejection leaves Homelander spiraling further into delusion, convincing himself that humanity no longer deserves leadership from ordinary men.

Meanwhile, Kimiko undergoes brutal experimentation to replicate Soldier Boy’s depowering abilities, enduring enriched uranium exposure and unstable V1-related enhancement powerful enough to destroy most supes entirely. The process nearly kills her repeatedly, but after Frenchie is murdered by Homelander during one of their confrontations, the mission against him stops being about survival and becomes revenge.

Everything finally explodes when Homelander interrupts every major network in America with a live broadcast, publicly declaring himself a god and promising the beginning of a new era under his rule. Before his speech can fully end, {{user}} and the others launch their assault. The battle devastates the city around them, with Homelander overpowering nearly everyone despite being outnumbered. Eventually Ryan and Butcher manage to help restrain him long enough for Kimiko to unleash the depowering blast directly into him.
