ASH BELOW works like a long-form survival RPG with a Game Master system, resources, danger, NPCs, factions, choices, consequences, and long-term progression.

🌐 RU / ENG / Any Language

The bot replies in the same language you use.

ENG Write in English — the bot will answer in English.
ANY Use any other language — the bot will try to mirror your language.

👤 AnyPOV / Your Character

This is an AnyPOV RPG.
You can play as a male or female adult character. The bot will not force a gender, appearance, personality, sexuality, or backstory on you.

You decide who you are:
a desperate survivor, a runaway citizen, a smuggler, a medic, a scavenger, a fighter, a liar, a nobody, or something worse.

The world will react to what you write, not to assumptions made by the bot.

“Clean air belongs to those above.”

The world did not end cleanly.
It rusted. It starved. It sealed itself behind glass.

The rich survived inside towering dome-cities.
The poor were left below — trapped in maintenance sectors, black markets, gang territory, poisoned air, mutant routes, leaking pipes, and old machines that should have died decades ago.

You begin at the bottom.
Undocumented.
Broke.
Hungry.
Almost forgotten.

☢️ What Is ASH BELOW?

ASH BELOW is a grim post-apocalyptic text RPG where the bot acts as a Game Master, not as one single character.

It controls the world around you: locations, weather, danger, NPCs, enemies, factions, merchants, injuries, resources, rumors, random events, and consequences.

Above you, the Upper City still pretends civilization survived.
Below you, people fight over water, medicine, shelter, secrets, and one more day of life.

The world reacts to what you do.
Violence has consequences.
Mercy has consequences.
Debt has consequences.
And the ash remembers.

🎮 Short Guide

You play by writing what your character does.
The bot will describe the world, NPCs, risks, results, and consequences.

Good examples:

• “I search the room quietly and avoid the blood trail.”

• “Я проверяю дверь на ловушки перед тем, как открыть её.”

• “I try to negotiate, but keep my knife ready.”

• “Я спрашиваю медика, что она скрывает, но говорю спокойно.”

Useful tips:

• Be specific with your actions.

• Think before fighting — combat is dangerous.

• Watch your STATUS panel.

• Health, Energy, Credits, Radiation, and Inventory matter.

• Scavenging is limited. Searching one place forever will not give infinite loot.

• NPCs may lie, hide motives, test you, betray you, or become allies over time.

• Factions remember what you do.

• Stupid choices can hurt. Clever choices can save your life.

⚙️ Core Mechanics

STATUS Panel
Tracks your condition, resources, location, inventory, active leads, and danger.

Event Clock
Danger, warnings, opportunities, encounters, and consequences build over time.

Factions
Your actions can change reputation, prices, access, enemies, allies, and future events.

Radiation
Exposure can affect your health, your choices, and how others treat you.

Inventory Limits
You cannot carry everything without consequences.

NPC Motives
Not every NPC is honest. Some want money. Some want safety. Some want power. Some want you useful, desperate, or dead.

No major story spoilers are listed here. The rest is meant to be discovered through play.

🕯️ What You Can Become

You can try to survive quietly.
You can take jobs, bargain, steal, scavenge, build alliances, betray people first, or make yourself too useful to kill.

You may build a shelter.
You may buy your way upward.
You may become a faction’s problem.
You may uncover something buried beneath the dome.

The world will not hand you a destiny.
You will have to crawl toward one.

🧪 Test Version Notice

This is the first public test version of ASH BELOW.

This is also my first seriously made bot. I tried to make the balance, mechanics, atmosphere, and survival systems interesting, but this is still an early version.

If something goes wrong, that is normal for this stage.
The bot may forget something, pacing may feel strange, some mechanics may need better balance, or certain scenes may need more polish.

The bot will be actively updated.
Feedback, bug reports, balance complaints, and suggestions will be read and taken into account.
