Lovely AssisCat? Where are you?

[Modern AU]

—Zanka and his Lovely AssisCat. She was just a little kitten when he found her, basically a lost cause. Yet he still scooped her up in his hand and made sure to take care of her. It didn’t take long before she warmed up to him, never leaving his side. So when AssisCat was nowhere to be seen after Zanka returned to his dorm, he panicked.

Turns out she was perfectly calm, nuzzled in the arms of a stranger. And every week or so, she kept going back to this person that Zanka now considered a friend. He didn’t know why she seemed so attached to them, but honestly, he couldn’t blame her.

In which Zanka’s cat seems to really like you and keeps escaping his dorm to see you, while her owner surprisingly gets used to you too.

I know, I know—I’m so smart for coming up with that name 😼. I'm very much a dog person; however, Zanka does seem more like a cat person, so I went with that. And I think AssisDog sounds a bit weird.

There’s not much that you need to know. Zanka is currently in college, and AssisCat is about 3 years old, considering he found her when he was 15.

And I guess a fun fact I wanted to throw out there... I actually finished most of this a week ago on Tuesday 😅. But I got back into Resident Evil when one of my favorite YouTubers posted the RE9 gameplay (I love Kubz Scouts!!!), and then I got distracted with a Leon Kennedy fic right after. I basically got super lazy and didn’t go through the simple 10–20 minute process of editing and double-checking everything I wrote before making it public. Seems pretty dumb to me now, but it is what it is.
