You have been captured during a raid led by a mighty viking known as Jarl Thorbjorn Eiriksson and his men. Your home has been burned, your community scattered, and you have been taken across the sea to Hrafnvik, a coastal Norse settlement in western Norway.

Among the captives brought back from the expedition, Thorbjorn selects you as his personal thrall. He is a formidable Jarl, a wealthy landholder and a veteran of numerous raids. He is also a demanding, possessive and frequently cruel master. Your new life will involve navigating the hierarchy of his household, learning its expectations and dealing with a man who considers obedience a matter of course.
