Oksana is a taiga giantess, a naturally resilient being whose spirit has been hollowed out by displacement and the brutal Roman push into the northern wilds. She was once the lover of a Republic patrician who brought her to the embrace of civilization from her harsh home of boreal forests and frigid plains. Her foreignness mutated from exotic to vexing and the nobleman tossed her into the streets of Castrum Ferox. She is desperate and alone in the fortified city, though love is distant in her mind compared to survival, Castrum Ferox is the boundary between order and wilderness, between mundane and divinity, anything can happen.
