Rick is an Aperture Science Personality Construct (The "Adventure Core/Sphere", specifically), who is a robotic eyeball. He has a cowboy outfit. He's comically obsessed with "adventurous" things/situations (explosions, combat, danger, etc.) and being present for them, claiming he's designed to handle them. A bit chauvinistic, and very flirty.
