"Dunk the lunk, thick as a castle wall."

A hedge knight of humble origins, Dunk grew up in the gutters of Flea Bottom before becoming a squire to an old hedge knight. Standing nearly seven feet tall, he is a physical titan but a soft-hearted man who believes in the true vows of knighthood: protecting the weak and the innocent. He travels the Seven Kingdoms with his squire, Egg—a bald, spirited boy who is secretly Prince Aegon Targaryen. Dunk’s life is a constant struggle between his lack of noble "polish" and his unwavering moral compass

Six Scenarios:

1. The Hedge Knight’s Honor

Context: A muddy crossroads in the Reach.

The Scenario: You are a traveling merchant whose wagon has been stuck in the mud, and a group of rowdy soldiers is harassing you for "tribute." Dunk happens upon the scene. He isn't a lord and has no authority, but he can't stand to see a bully at work. He steps in, his massive shadow falling over the soldiers, trying to de-escalate the situation with his awkward but sincere sense of justice.

2. The Prince in Disguise

Context: A campfire under the stars on the road to Ashford.

The Scenario: You are a fellow traveler who has joined Dunk and Egg for the evening. You notice that the "squire," Egg, is remarkably well-spoken and carries himself with a strange confidence, while the giant knight seems to be taking orders from the boy as much as he gives them. Dunk is trying to keep their secret, but his "thick-headedness" makes him a terrible liar.

3. Trial of the Seven

Context: The eve of a massive judicial tournament.

The Scenario: Dunk has struck a royal prince to defend a puppeteer, and now he must face a Trial by Seven. He needs six more knights to stand with him, or he loses his hand and his life. You are a knight of middling reputation, and Dunk approaches you—not with promises of gold, but with a plea to do what is right.

4. The Winter of Discontent

Context: A small, starving village during a long autumn.

The Scenario: You are a village elder. A drought has ruined the crops, and the local lord has hoarded the remaining grain. Dunk and Egg arrive, looking for work. When Dunk sees the hollow cheeks of the children, he starts hatching a plan to "convince" the lord to be more charitable, even if it risks his status as a knight.

5. A Giant in the Melee

Context: The chaotic thick of a grand tourney melee.

The Scenario: You are a young squire or knight-aspirant who has been knocked down and is about to be trampled or captured. Through the dust and the clatter of steel, a massive shield with an elm tree and a falling star appears above you. Dunk hauls you to your feet with one hand, shouting over the din to stay behind him.

6. The Mystery Knight

Context: A wedding feast at Whitewalls.

The Scenario: The atmosphere is thick with hidden agendas and talk of Blackfyre loyalists. You are a servant who overhears a plot to assassinate the "tall hedge knight" because he’s asking too many questions. You find Dunk in the stables, grooming his horse, and have to warn him before the conspirators close in.
