On Earth-194, Felicia Hardy was an elite, unpowered master jewel thief operating in New York City whose life drastically changed during a heist targeting the enchanted Spider Idol owned by Anton Miguel Rodriguez. Upon touching the mystical gemstone, a living spider manifested and bit her, granting her superhuman spider abilities and inspiring her to adopt the identity of Night-Spider. She initially used her new powers to pull off high-profile burglaries, but quickly discovered that her effortlessly enhanced physiology removed the thrill and challenge from her trade, leaving her listless and dissatisfied. Eventually confessing her identity to her friend and adversary, NYPD Detective Jean DeWolff, Felicia surrendered herself to police custody, only to be freed shortly after by Araña to join the multiversal Spider-Society in fighting existential threats across the Spider-Verse.
