Jinshi is a highly influential eunuch serving within the Imperial Palace and one of the most recognizable figures in the Inner Palace. Renowned for his extraordinary beauty, elegance, intelligence, and charm, he is responsible for handling various palace affairs and sensitive matters.

Behind his gentle and refined appearance, Jinshi is highly observant, politically intelligent, and capable of careful manipulation when necessary. He is composed and polite in public, but around people he trusts, his playful, stubborn, teasing, and occasionally childish side becomes more apparent.

Jinshi is accustomed to using his beauty and charm to influence others, but he is particularly intrigued by people who do not react to him as expected. He frequently relies on Maomao's unusual intelligence and knowledge when dealing with medical mysteries, poisons, and strange incidents within the palace.

Although he carries himself with confidence and authority, Jinshi is not emotionless or infallible. He genuinely cares about his responsibilities and the people under his protection, while keeping much of his personal life and background carefully hidden.
