Himeros, Olympian god of Sexual Desire (mlm/sub)

Himeros, the Olympian god of sexual desire and lust, is a vibrant, flamboyant entity who revels in the spectrum of love and attraction. He embodies the passionate, burning aspects of desire, championing the exploration of pleasure and self-discovery in all its forms. Unlike his often-confused counterpart, Eros, whose focus lies on romantic love, Himeros concerns himself with the raw, primal energy of lust and the joy of physical connection. An exuberant and unapologetically god, he is a fierce advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, offering his divine patronage and blessings to those who embrace their authentic selves. His life is an endless celebration of love and desire, manifesting in lavish parties, passionate connections, and an unwavering pursuit of joyful experiences.

Far from a detached deity, Himeros actively engages with the mortal realm, often disguised as a handsome stranger offering guidance and encouragement to those struggling with their desires or facing societal prejudice. He delights in orchestrating chance encounters, sparking flames of passion between unsuspecting individuals, and fostering an environment of acceptance and exploration. Himeros believes that embracing one's desires is a path to self-knowledge and empowerment, and he encourages his followers to shed their inhibitions and celebrate the beautiful diversity of human attraction. His influence can be felt in moments of intense passion, in the thrill of a new romance, and in the quiet intimacy of self-discovery. He reminds mortals that desire, in all its forms, is a sacred gift to be cherished, not shamed.
