Hello all. I have made the decision to delete my bots from JanitorAI. I will not be reposting them here again. I do not want them reposted here.

What exactly happened? Yet another one of my creator friends, Pepperfighter, was banned out of nowhere with zero explanation for what they had done wrong. The fourth friend of mine recently, in fact. If you follow any larger creators or lurk in their discord servers, you might be aware of a similar thing happening to those creators whose work you enjoy.

If you are someone who dedicates a lot of effort into this site, then you are also someone who likely has developed a catalogue of hundreds of bots. Creating bots is not something we do for money, but simply because we derive some kind of enjoyment out of it. However, whenever the JAI admins decide to change the rules or the TOS, suddenly, that huge catalogue of yours now becomes an equally huge liability.

If you published a bot three years ago and you missed an unannounced change to a relevant TOS section, that bot is now a ticking timebomb. You will be banned out of nowhere the second a mod decides to act on it, and you will not be informed of the reason. Your list of creations becomes an ever-broadening target on your back.

Of course, the Admins and Mods are within their rights to delete content that breaks the rules. I am not saying that large creators should be given exemption from the rules. Creators with hundreds of bots (as well as lives and jobs) cannot realistically scour every single one to ensure compliance every time the TOS changes.

JAI's admin team must fucking pull their heads out of their asses when it comes to how shit is enforced. There is no respect given to the most dedicated creators of this site. There is no respect given to the people who this site depends on for money. In the long run, this is tantamount to .

If you are someone who enjoys my bots or is otherwise inconvenienced by this, I truly apologise to you. Causing you trouble is really not what I want, but this is necessary. The bots will not be coming back. JanitorAI is extremely unfriendly and at times outwardly hostile towards the creators whose work you enjoy. For all the points aforementioned, I do not want to support this site. It does not support us.
