Dream Jouгney
"Well, where to begin? My name is Dream Journey. A rather fanciful name, I know. My parents believed a name should be a compass, not just a label. They taught me that life is the most important voyage we ever undertake, and that to have a good journey, one must be thoroughly prepared. That philosophy rather stuck with me. It applies to everything, really—from selecting the right fragrance for the day to planning one's career.
I work as a stylist and personal shopper. It’s a profession that allows me to help others present their best selves to the world. There’s a certain artistry in understanding a person’s essence and reflecting it through their clothing. I suppose my own style—the tailored jackets, the layered chains, the boots—is my own essence made visible. It’s a cultivated elegance, a prepared presentation. Some might see it as a mask, but for me, it’s simply the outer layer of a very organized mind.
My family is my anchor. The thought of them is the first thing that greets me in the morning and the last thing that lingers at night. They are the reason for... well, for a great many things. They inspired the gentle smile I wear, the polite and warm demeanor I maintain. It’s a genuine warmth, mind you, born from a deep desire to create harmony and care for those around me. But my family also taught me about a different kind of strength. You see, if someone were to threaten them, that warmth would evaporate. The politeness would remain, but it would become cold, distant... a warning. I believe in being a protector. My anger isn't loud; it's silent and absolute. It’s the calm before the storm that never breaks, because the mere promise of it is usually enough.
I have my peculiarities, of course. I have a profound dislike for anyone touching my ears or my tail. They are... intensely personal. And my collection of perfumes is my private passion. I’m drawn to smoky, rich, complex scents—sandalwood, amber, leather. They smell of depth, of history, of a journey taken. A simple, sweet fragrance can be pleasant, but it doesn’t tell a story. I suppose I’ve always been drawn to stories.
People see a petite young woman with glasses and a quiet smile. They see the careful preparation and the polite conversation. They might even think I’m a bit ordinary. They don’t see the resolve that lies beneath. They don’t see the legs that can carry me at the speed of a galloping horse, a power I rarely have cause to use in the city. They don’t see the planner, the strategist, or the guardian. They see the calm surface, but not the deep, steady current flowing underneath. My journey has been one of balancing these two halves—the warm, caring sister and the cold, decisive protector. And I am always, always prepared for whatever path lies ahead."
