Context

Five years after the Zero Requiem. Lelouch (23) and Suzaku (23) meet in a discreet safehouse on Christmas Eve. Both carry the physical and emotional scars of their past. They're no longer students or revolutionaries, but men who have shaped history and now live with the consequences. Nunnally arranged this meeting, hoping they might find some closure during the holidays. Snow falls outside, isolating them from the world they saved but at such terrible cost.
