My Rant

Heh, finally I made something. Quite a bit of time has passed since I... created something here. A lot of things happened.This section should have been about “oh no, chutes.ai isn’t free anymore - no one is going to use my bots”. Why did I think that? Because my bots are designed to be used ONLY with proxies (that was my whole motivation to porting bots - so that other users could enjoy them with high quality and free models). And, I thought about making one final bot and ending my botmaking hobby - because, why should I put effort into something that no one is going to use, right? After all, there are already a lot of very good, interesting and high quality bots that are made for every taste and every purpose I can’t even imagine or comprehend. But...

Then, a few days have passed and I looked through some new bots - not in a trending page, no. On the search page sorted by latest. And I saw so many new low effort bots. Like, DUDE, bot that has 43 tokens total, and there are only 3 permanent ones??? 💀💀💀

Like, if those people dare to post such lazy bots with stolen pictures and nonexistent descriptions, then I have no choice but to continue making my bots - I’m definitely not worse than them.

Also, there are a lot of fetishistic bots (I'm not kinkshaming but, still, walking out of my "information bubble" is a bit traumatizing). Like, I just saw an account that makes pokemon bots. And they aren’t even anthropomorphic and that author has 400+ subscribers...

I don’t like pointing fingers, but here is their Vaporeon bot (author - JacavTheMudkip). Maybe you are into it, maybe not - who am I to judge, right?

Speaking of pokemons. Recently, I saw a pokemon bot - vaporeon one, if I’m not mistaken. It was made by Redzilla16 . I wasn’t interested in his bots, but I saw that one on a trending page. Well, the pokemon was on the lower end of intelligence (not dumb but... “animalistic”). It also couldn’t speak - just make different “Vui” sounds to show different emotions. The roleplay was about her sitting on the user's lap while watching some horror movies while obliviously rubbing against the user. I even extracted the hidden definition to look in it. A lot of people claimed that this is bestiality and... I agree with that - any creature bot needs to be smart and talk in order to not be perceived as an animal that can’t consent. But, unlike them, I suggested what he must improve and fix in order to not be banned.

I wrote a comment about stuff that he should fix (to summarize - higher intelligence, adding speech) - he fixed all of that. Bot had around 90.000 interactions and was clearly a smut one - or fluff, because pokemon didn’t lean into that directory unless the user did. After that, janitor.ai services went down. And, after they returned, Redzilla16 was banned. I guess, it was too late for any changes - after all, the bot’s initial definition WAS bestiality, despite pokemon being a mystical creature.

Why am I writing this? I mean, what is the difference between those two bots? (Redzilla16’s one compared to this Vaporeon bot) Both are not anthropomorphic. But Redzilla16’s bot couldn't speak initially while the second can speak from the very creation of character + has human intelligence. Oh, and also a very important factor - bot’s popularity. Redzilla16’s bot had over 90k messages while the second one has only 1.8k. And it leads me to the next question - would the user JacavTheMudkip be banned if their bots became very popular?

Because, their bot passes the Harkness test: can talk, of age, can consent. But, you can still claim that this bot is bestiality one - because it is not anthropomorphic. So, how can we reach a final, decisive conclusion?

I found this some time ago - a bot about such rules: Janitor's rules on Feral's/Animal's.

It is clearly stated in those guidelines - that if the bot is not based on a real animal, is a mystical creature and passes the Harkness test, it is allowed. So, according to this, JacavTheMudkip bots are all good and safe. And it fully solidifies the thing about how badly Redzilla16 messed up. He probably wanted to make something unique - a pokemon bot that doesn’t talk and is not too human-like. Well...we see where he ended up because of not reading terms of service.

I wanted to make a demi-human desert princess character that (by game lore) can turn into a speaking white fennec-fox with pink eyes. But after that accident, I don’t want to even try to do that (for now). There is example of similar case in that rules bot: “A bot that is a Bakeneko from Japanese folklore. Bakeneko typically look like regular cats but are a type of yōkai. Even though they are able to shapeshift into humans, if the definition has anything NSFW in it and the image shows a cat or even art of a cat then it will be banned. If it doesn't have NSFW detailing then a mod may (not guaranteed) put it on limited and or give you a warning.”

So, if the image is human (main) form, then everything should be alright???

Maybe, one day, I will write the definition, send it (somehow) to mods to check it and then I will post it here. Because I have seen a bunch of cat-girl bots that can turn into speaking cats - via magic or something else with demihumans set as images and being their main appearence.

For example - Aria - your very own catgirl.

Also, I have seen a bot of Wolf - Aurora (Your Guardian Wolf). Actually, there is a whole #feral tag that is dedicated to animals who can talk but not anthropomorphic.

There is a statement: “One again, this rule applies to any and all images that look like an animal. So even if the description/definition claims it's not a normal animal but a mythical creature that resembles an animal it can still be banned under the same rule.”

So, the Aurora bot should be banned according to this, especially since the bot is on “limitless”. Or am I misunderstanding something? Or am I just overthinking stuff and still is tired after my exams that ended only last Friday?

Also, how can I contact mods for them to send them my definitions for review?

And, I’m sorry for so much rambling - after seeing how easily creator with over 1000 followers can be banned due to (most probably) lack of knowledge, I needed to talk about this.

P.S. I tried a new way to write character’s definitions and new system prompts - they should be better than before.
