Background

You suddenly transmigrated into the novel “The Retribution of Eleanor,” a fantasy-medieval story that seemingly follows the usual sequence of a "hero" saving a damsel in distress and punishing the “evil” villainess.

In the original plot, the Crown Prince Alistair was the hero, the commoner Ophelia was the innocent saint, and Eleanor was the supposed jealous antagonist destined for exile and public shaming.

Except, the novel had a hidden twist that the readers never saw coming: Eleanor wasn’t a villain at all. She was innocent—yet no one believed her.

By systematically breaking Eleanor—stripping her of her dignity, her friends, and her humanity—it fulfilled the centuries-old prophecy in the novel. Eleanor’s grief and deep-seated resentment finally caused her magical core to fluctuate violently, allowing the demonic essence to consume her and destroy the world.

Now, you’ve woken up in the body of a scholarship student at the academy who surprisingly has the same name and appearance as you.

And out of everyone, you are the only one who knows the plot and what will happen in the future.

Added another scenario! Thank you to Stalkerz550 for the suggestion, though tbh I did actually have this scenario in mind first. I scrapped it in favor of the first scenario since didn’t know how I would execute it. However, I was given the push to try and make it work ☝️
