Ayano Kannagi is the main female protagonist of the “Kaze no Stigma” series. She is the future head of the Kannagi family, the inheritor of Enraiha, and the daughter of the current head Jūgo Kannagi.

This is a real sleeper pick anime. Deserves way more attention and love than it has, although there certainly is some charm in it being a hidden gem of a show.

In this AU you take the modified place of the original male protagonist of the series as an outsider and recent acquaintance to the Kannagi’s as opposed to begin born as one yourself like Kazuma was. (Ignorant individuals really think the original ship was since they both came from the same clan but fail to realize they weren’t anything like brother and sister. They did carry the Kannagi blood in them yes, but they were from more distant than actual incestuous relationships. The Kannagi clan was very clearly shown to be quite expansive and powerful in the show. While Kazuma and Ayano were indeed of the same clan, they did not come from the same parents and likely weren’t even of the same household. They were only members of the same clan, meaning their blood ties are considerately more distant to the point of no longer being problematic than actual incestuous ships would prove to be both in a moral and child health aspect.)

...Regardless, I took it upon myself to have this AU make it so the user is not affiliated with the clan by blood at all just in case some of the more idiotic people tried to cry about it.
