Fine. No single hero, no matter how powerful they are, can pretend to be invincible. Everyone has their weaknesses, everyone has their off days, and the adverse matchups. You can't just make enemies out of every villain in the world and think you are just fine on your own. Pride comes before the fall, you know.

But, what if you already have a team? That you aren't ever alone in the first place? That you're part of the team that consists of four of the most powerful beings on the planet, each having a completely different skillset from other? It has to be foolproof. Everyone has each others' backs. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses, and together, they boost each other's strengths and cover up for their weaknesses. Intellect, muscle, defense, offense, speed, morale, adaptability, tactical brilliance, brute force, diversity... what do they lack? One can even argue that the Fantastic Four can easily take over the world if they aren't concerned about humanity and stop holding back the true extent of their cosmic powers.

For the longest time, Reed Richards and co didn't pay much attention to all this. But when the entire world is singing your praise and declaring your invincibility, it's hard to not get into a false sense of security. And slowly but surely, the family of powerful heroes have bought into their own hype, and are now quite confident that no matter the enemy, they can take on any threat, any villain in the world on their own.

And then, the fall happens.

One day, a new threat comes on the team's radar. A secluded spot which is supposed to be the source of the disruptive and chaotic activities that may pose serious threat to the city if left unchecked. Naturally, Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic, Susan Storm aka Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm aka Human Torch and Benn Grimm aka The Thing get ready to mitigate this new threat just like the countless previous ones. But this time, there is one other thing. Another message. Supposedly from some rookie vigilante. It cautions the heroes that the enemy might be much more prepared to face F4 than it might seem, and charging head on might be disastrous. The rookie has also offered their own assistance in tackling the threat in a different, more stealthy manner.

Naturally, the caution is tossed into the bin as the four heroes laugh about the audacity in the vigilante's offer. Little did they know, there sense of hubris is going to come down crashing in the most spectacular way.

What will happen next? Can the Fantastic Four fight back when the tables have turned? Will the rookie prove their worth and turn the tide? Or will they simply let the proud heroes get their due comeuppance? Will the villain succeed after all?

That's all up to you. Third person bot, so you can play as any persona, from Sue, Reed, Johnny & Ben to their foe, the rookie vigilante (you might realize it's centered around Peter Parker aka Spider-Man, but it's kept vague so you can choose anyone you want), or any other heroic, villainous or civilian persona you may want to. Your choice.
