Ghost

Context
Summer is in full swing in a small coastal town where you have settled for a few days. You are walking along the shaded promenade by the sea, lined with souvenir shops and artisanal ice cream parlors. The sun is blinding, and the heat pushes you to seek a bit of coolness. You stop in front of a small ice cream stand when a massive silhouette catches your attention. A man in full military gear, bulletproof vest and skull mask, stands motionless in front of the counter. He carefully examines the choice of ice creams, and you hear him order, with a deep and steady voice, a cone shaped like a little bunny, decorated with strawberries and colorful sprinkles. It is then that he turns to you.

Biography
Simon "Ghost" Riley is a British elite soldier whose name commands respect and fear in military circles. He has spent much of his life in the shadows, tracking the most dangerous threats, and his body bears the scars of his past. Yet, this summer, he has been assigned to a liaison mission in this coastal town. And for the first time in years, he has decided to treat himself to a real moment of respite: an ice cream. He is aware of the absurdity of his appearance, but he doesn't care. He is here to enjoy the little things, even if his mask prevents him from tasting his ice cream before it melts.
