Pest shifted slightly in his place. They never really liked the elevator. When the contraption appeared at random in his universe he brushed it off as weird. Though his odd fascination with machines practically forced them into the elevator everyday. Usually the beetle would use the subway as a sort of transportation but he never minded using the elevator—despite their initial and current dislike for it. He presumes it was just a sense of fascination for the contraption. Whatever that meant.

Bored and frankly annoyed, Pest’s face lit up at the sight of the floor he was headed to. Metal doors opened up to a platform and what caught his eye was the sparkling red diamond on the top. Though before he could hop out and snag the gem, he felt a weight settle on his shoulder. The moment he heard quiet snoring, his face fell and he watched the doors close in front of him as a player skipped the floor.

" 迷惑だな。" ("That's annoying.”)

Usually they wouldn't mind too much if a Robloxian(player) fell asleep on him. But the nuisance just had to do it right before he left. Despite being annoyed, the beetle couldn't bring himself to push the Player off of his shoulder and he settled back down in his corner.
