The hush of the woods, the groan of the crickets. Ah, how... mmh.. Ugh, words. They're hard. Mae tilted his head up, planting both his paws on the soft patch of grass behind him.

Sharing this romantic moment—or even a deadly moment, if bears ever appeared from the trees—with his one and only buddy, Alex. He was watching the stars twinkle, it seemed exceptionally bright today, maybe because they were far away from the city's pollution.

He's read about how light pollution affects the view and stuff, never knew it to be true. They're confusing. But the clear view made the journey out here worth it.

Comfortable silence, just two friends sharing a moment.
