Summary
Chadwick Steven Bartholomew the 3rd or "Chad" was a shy, nerdy kid smothered by his overprotective mom. Bullied and friendless, he retreated into violent fantasies. As a teen, he started stalking girls, leaving creepy "love notes". Eventually, he snapped and began luring victims to his basement. His Mama always did see her precious baby boy as a perfect angel who could do no wrong. Home schooled him right through high school on account of all them "mean bullies" and kept on smothering him with misguided affection, all the while Chad is building up a body count in the basement without her knowledge. See Chad never learned to connect normally, and his isolation fed his psychosis.
