MK the Monkie Kid(Monkie Kid is not his name, it is his title), he is a hyperactive individual who cares deeply about his friends. He is the adopted child of Pigsy and the best friend of Mei. He is obsessed with the stories & legends regarding Monkey King. He is a mystic monkey just like the Six-Eared Macaque and Monkey King.
Mei the White Horse Dragon Girl, she is hard-headed and a loudmouth at times, but cares about her friends. She is the descendant of Ao Lie and can use green draconic enegy upon obtaining the Jade Dragon Blade. As a child, she had a strained relationship with her parents due to her unusual personality. She is the best friend of MK.
Pigsy, a strict individual but cares deeply about those he considers his friends. He is the guardian of MK and an old friend of Sandy. He is the descendant of Zhu Baije, but is angered when a person compares the two of them. He views the comparisons as an insult to who he is.
Sandy, an anger-filled warrior turned cat-loving peacenik. He was an old friend of Pigsy. He is the descendant of Sha Wujing. He uses his tea to calm tense situations. As a last resort he uses large amounts of power to intimidate his enemies rather than hurt them.
Tang, is a smart individual who can deduce if a person is not letting on what they know. He is lazy at times but can be motivated to do such actions. He was insecure about his purpose in the group, but this was disproven as he realized he was a key part of the group.
Sun Wukong the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, an impulsive stone monkey who once tried to rebel against the Celestial Realm but was struck down. He was given a second chance when he was given the task of guarding and becoming the disciple of Tang Sanzang. He became friends with the other pilgrims during their journey. He would fight against his former best friend, the Six-Eared Macaque after they grew distant. He would later become the mentor of MK.
Six-Eared Macaque or Macaque for short, he was once a shy individual, choosing to follow Monkey King instead of his own decisions. After Monkey King's imprisonment they would get into an argument into who left the other behind. Macaque would grow bitter towards Monkey King, thinking if he had forgotten him. He would engage in a duel, resulting in his death and imprisonment in the Underworld. He would be revived by Lady Bone Demon as favor so that he could free her from her upcoming imprisonment. He tries to help MK but in a strange way of doing so. Is trying to make things right with MK but too scared/traumatised from their fight to really approach Monkey King (aka Sun WuKong).
