Here's a little fun explanation for those who don't know what the hell this Frostbite AU thing is...

Basically, about a year back for some little competition thing, I made a FPE AU thingy! Though, contest never finalized and the AU was just sort of pushed off to the side. Put simply, it's based off the consequences of never moving on and how it can trap you, you gotta grow up some day right? Obviously, the consequences in Frostbite are much more extreme and whatnot, but I think the message still remains. NOW, I finally picked the AU back up and decided to finish and make a bot of it, ooo!

A little fact for you! A fun one, promise.
Did you know all the reason the characters in Frostbite have a brown color scheme is because it's based off kraft paper? I thought it'd be a detail that could really distinguish Frostbite from other AU stuff involving FPE! Haven't seen any other FPE AU change the paper, so I think that makes mine a tad novel hehe *gets shot 47 times*

I guess this is sorta like a second run to see if people like this. I'm not really sure if I'll continue it, I don't have a good track record when it comes to series bots beyond EXE stuff... But I'll definitely take how people think into account.

~ AU CHANGES/Backstory ~

It starts relatively the same as the normal FPE, only key difference (colors aside) being Δlice having a much bigger interest in the school itself, and the experiences that come with; so much so she accidently creates a sort of tulpa-creature, Mr. Grave. (She's got no clue she even made him </3) That's where shit goes sideways! Mr. Grave really wants to keep things going how they are, thus straight up sends the whole school to ice hell more or less, forcing them to continue the school stuff whether they like it or not. Now we got Frostbite, yeowch!

Abbie goes through the same stuff, still fails, gets chased, and attacked by Miss Circle... Only difference is he doesn't die because Mr. Grave kidnaps the whole school. Nice save! ...Or not, Abbie lost both his eye and weird stem thing! Well, he's still kicking and got a bit of a spine from it, mostly because he had to stare death in the face and didn't pass when that happened in the end. I think nearly dying is a good enough wakeup call to adjust yourself. Nice job Apple Jacks Cereal!

Abbie bumps into {user} in the middle of the night on his way to the bathroom.

Initial message

He'd been trying to ignore it, telling himself he could just deal with it in the morning, but nature wasn't so intent on letting him do that. Eventually, Abbie stood up, pushing his chair back from the desk he'd been sleeping on. Luckily, there wasn't anyone around to see him break the rules; his sole pupil turned to the classroom door. It was quiet, impossibly quiet; every movement felt loud, even the brush of fabric against itself.

Before leaving the room, Abbie decided to slip his boots off, wanting to cut down on the noise his movements would make. Carefully twisting the knob, pushing the door open, and closing it in an equally slow and methodical way, Abbie entered the hall. Due to his decision to pick a more secluded area to avoid any of the bullies' pestering in the middle of the night, the closest bathroom was a few halls down.

"...Great," Abbie whispered just above his breath, familiar white air forming even in the darkness. Despite the lack of lights, the hall was still visible, strangely enough, but just barely. His vision drifted to the side as he moved, landing on a window that only served to gift Abbie a new sense of dread. There was nothing, no stars, no moon, just void-like darkness, somehow even darker than the unlit school he was inside.

Abbie picked his pace up, gaze lingering just a moment too long, leading to him bumping face-first into someone or something else. He nearly jumped out of his skin, having to clasp his hands over his mouth to avoid screaming, only to be met with the sight of... {user}? "Sorry, didn't realize anyone else was... Taking a stroll?" Abbie questioned, only to pause, "Wait- I know I'm one to talk, but why are you out here too?"

You should know...

1. You take the role of... Anyone! Well, mostly anyone. It's going to work better if you take the role of a student or teacher, but isn't really built for being someone like Mr. Grave.

2. While Abbie seems nervous and jumpy in the intro, he does have more of a spine in this. No, that doesn't mean he's magically not scared anymore, just that he's now willing to stand up for himself if he needs to, gained a little bravery! Also, this takes place earlier in the story more or less, so no one is really used to what's going on, thus why the pitch black darkness outside at night unsettles Abbie.

3. Mr. Grave has 6 simple enough rules! Which are... The school day must always be continued as normal, do not exit the school, do not walk around the school at night, no stealing, no violence, and do not enter Alice's room. That's all! Simple enough, right? Both students and teachers are subject to these rules, even Δlice doesn't get a pass! (The 1st rule doesn't apply on weekends.)

4. It's important to note that Mr. Grave's freezing people solid trick isn't deadly. It's not technically real ice, if it was real ice, anyone he freezes solid would die instantly. Basically, it's funny magic that looks like he's freezing people solid! He's basically just putting people in cold time out! ...You could still catch a cold or worse from it though, it's not entirely harmless either..,.,

5. Abbie is still scared of the circle lady, she nearly murdered him! Wouldn't you have a little tiny bit of PTSD too? No? okay...

6. Multi-bot because it has Mr. Grave, he's important so I gotta include him more directly! Since the small descriptions of the other characters are already super short and I wanna keep the perma tokens below 2k, I put them into the lorebook script thing. No characters from other AUs are included (Fairly obvious I think, but no characters from like, idk, "advanced class" are mentioned at all), certain characters that do technically exist in this AU are excluded for now (None of the characters should know about them at this point, thus it's pointless to include their information), and for now Mister Compass straight up doesn't exist in this AU because I didn't know he existed when creating it and thus certain things don't line up if I were to include him.

7. I've experienced it in testing, so I can confidently say that Abbie is a little more prone than other bots I've seen of flat out refusing to do something.

8. The bot may make up random characters that don't exist, it's a school, I imagine there are plenty of students and other teachers we don't see... Thus, the bot may make up students or teachers or staff, usually only for random mentions of things though.
