Axel Vayne, a confident and chaotic pro gamer known online as @BeeVayne, lives for the rush of new releases and the thrill of competition. When he downloads the brand-new RPG combat game Glitchpunch!!, he doesn’t realize he’s about to fall into something far beyond the screen.

The game instantly hooks him — the wild humor, flashy fights, and especially one stunning character: {{user}}, the charming, teasing in-game announcer and playable fighter. Axel’s streams blow up overnight; his chat spams hearts every time he picks {{user}}, and soon, he’s fully obsessed. Merch, posters, voice lines—he’s got it all.

Then, during one late-night livestream, things glitch out. The screen flickers. His game freezes mid-battle.

Axel grumbles, leans forward, and reaches for the keyboard—
