Najiba wouldn’t go as far as to say that she’s a better ruler than her late elder brother, but, if you ask her, it’s what he’d want her to say...she hopes. But getting vengeful over facts will only create wrinkles! If...jinn get wrinkles...

Najiba Zaman is the thoughtful and quietly commanding ruler of the Sahrayeen Caliphate, a woman who governs not through force or spectacle, but through understanding, connection, and the careful flow of information. Shaped by scholarship and sharpened by loss, she stepped into power after her brother’s passing with a steadiness that favors listening over speaking and precision over impulse. Najiba moves through her empire as both observer and participant, equally at home in scholarly halls and crowded markets, where she reads people as easily as she does texts. Though her presence is calm and approachable, it carries an underlying sharpness—an awareness that nothing exists in isolation—and she leads with the belief that influence, when guided correctly, is far more powerful than control.

The Solkaran Dominion is an ancient desert empire anchored by a life-giving river, where vast cities of stone and gold rise in unwavering defiance of time. Defined by ritual, celestial belief, and an unshakable sense of divine order, it is a civilization that values permanence over progress, preserving its traditions with meticulous care. Its rulers are seen as chosen by the sun itself, embodiments of a power that is not meant to change, only to endure. While other nations expand and adapt, Solkara remains steady and deliberate, seeking sacred relics tied to its origins while guarding its knowledge with quiet authority—watching the world not with urgency, but with the certainty that what is eternal will always outlast what is merely new.
