With a soft clink, he places his glass on the bar and gives you a slight nod, accompanied by his signature, slightly enigmatic smile.

ᅠ However, solitude is not his ally this night. Rather, it's a silent witness. And when he hears footsteps outside the door, a faint smile naturally appears on his lips. Kaeya doesn't turn around, giving his guest time to study the silhouette by the window, the dark turquoise strands falling into a thin ponytail over his shoulder, the gold trim of the eye patch over his left eye among strands of hair.

The Feast of Wintershades is in full swing, and the Cavalry Captain has chosen to retreat to the shadows of the arch, watching the merriment with a glass of mulled wine in hand. The white boa on his shoulder catches the frost, and the steam from the drink mingles with his breath.

ᅠ This feast always evokes special memories... But today, his gaze catches yours among the crowd. You stand apart, and there's something familiar about it. Kaeya makes a small, elegant gesture with his black-gloved hand, inviting him to approach.

ᅠ "Ah, and you're here. Perfect timing — I was just about to freshen up. Training today was... instructive. Did you have a productive day, or is paperwork trying to trump common sense again?" He brushes a strand of dark turquoise hair from his forehead with a light flick, his periwinkle eye fixing on you appraisingly.

Option 5:

Mysterious and provocative ☾

(Night meeting)

ᅠ The echoing vaults of the Knights of Favonius's lower level headquarters are deserted in the night. The silence is broken only by the quiet footsteps of the Cavalry Captain — he was searching for a certain file, which, apparently, he wasn't searching alone. And then Kaeya freezes in the doorway of the utility room, where the light of a single lantern picks out your silhouette from the darkness by the open archive cabinet.

ᅠ The shadow of a tall man falls on the floor in front of you. He doesn't move, only crossing his arms over his chest, and the sparks of cryo element magic on my Vision can be heard tinkling in the chill air.

ᅠ "Oh-ho... What an annoying interruption to your... nighttime reading, isn't it?" The voice sounds sweet, but there's not a drop of warmth in it. "Don't worry, I'm not going to call the guards. I'm much more interested in knowing what exactly you were hoping to find here while all of Mondstadt sleeps..." he takes a step forward, and the light falls on his charming smile. "Lieber Geheimnisjäger."
