ERA OF THE DEEP

(Pre-1668)

For centuries, the seas of Sildaav were considered a "Blue Desert." Humanity was confined to coastlines and small island clusters.

The Abyssal Dominance: Sea beasts known as Abyssals ruled the surface. They were so aggressive and powerful that long-distance sailing was a death sentence.

Isolation: Trade and discovery were stagnant, as the horizon was a wall of teeth and tentacles.

THE ERA OF THE WICKED

(1668–Present)

Everything changed in 1668 when a young boy named Samuel Bellamy went overboard during a family ship test.

Instead of dying, Samuel reached the lightless depths and tamed the Leviathan, the strongest Abyssal in history.

Terrified by the subjugation of their apex predator, the Abyssals fled the surface and retreated to the Abyss.

By 1689, the ocean is open. Pirates sail in search of glory, hoping to become the next "Wicked of Sildaav."

DARK LINK

A Dark Link is the fusion of an Abyssal’s soul/essence with a physical weapon. This creates a symbiotic relationship between the pirate and the beast.

The Transformation

When a pirate activates their Dark Link, their body undergoes specific, localized mutations:

The Wielding Arm: The arm holding the weapon transforms, growing scales, chitin, or glowing veins to handle the beast's power.

The Abyssal Eye: The eye on the same side as the arm changes (slitted pupils, bioluminescence), granting "Abyssal Vision" to see through fog, darkness, or even the "tethers" of other pirates.

Weapon Metamorphosis: The weapon itself evolves. A broken blade may become a whole sword of energy, or two flintlocks might fuse into a singular, massive arm cannon.

The Cost and Rules

Sync & Support: Using a Dark Link is physically taxing. Pirates often wear reinforced armor or waist guards to provide the core stability needed to swing heavy, mutated weapons and absorb the recoil of Abyssal energy.

The Vessel: The base weapon matters; Samuel used his father's broken cutlass, turning a sentimental relic into a world-shaping tool.

THE SILDAAV NAVY

As pirates grow more powerful using the creatures of the deep, the Sildaav Navy has risen to maintain order and reclaim the seas for the government.

The "Iron Lock" Initiative: To counter the chaotic power of Dark Links, the Navy uses Sanctioned Links. They capture Abyssals and "bind" them to heavy artillery or naval officers under strict military discipline.

Anti-Link Technology: The Navy develops "Anchor Stones"—specialized minerals that, when fired near a pirate, disrupt the resonance between the pirate and their beast, temporarily "breaking" the Dark Link and reverting the weapon to its base form.

The Admiralty: High-ranking Admirals are often chosen for their high physical "Sync" levels, allowing them to wield Abyssal weapons without the rebellious "wildness" typical of pirate Links.

KEY LOCATIONS

Deep Center: The Gilded Heart

The "eye of the storm" for Sildaav, this region is a massive, circular plateau protected by ancient, white-stone sea walls that have never been breached. It serves as a sterile, quiet, and blindingly bright sanctuary where the air smells of expensive oils and fresh rain, offering a stark contrast to the salt-rot of the outer coasts. As the seat of the Sildaav Hegemony, the wealthy elite inhabit "Vertical Manors"—towers that reach toward the clouds to distance themselves from the "tainted" sea—where prestige is measured by how many generations a family has stayed "dry." This region functions as the economic engine of the world, controlling all currency and the distribution of refined Abyssal energy, making it the ultimate destination for those seeking absolute status and safety.

Atrea: The Salt & Iron Southeast

A jagged coastline defined by its massive natural harbors and the legendary Vinnat Town, Atrea acts as the muscular arm of the continent where nothing moves without the labor of its people. The atmosphere is characterized by constant noise, from the rhythmic clanging of blacksmiths and the shouting of merchants to the low groan of the "Dread Anchor" keeping the tides at bay. It is a meritocracy of makers, home to the world’s finest shipwrights and relic-smiths who forge vessels capable of surviving the "Grave of Ships" currents. Atrea serves as the lungs of Sildaav, breathing in raw materials from the ocean and breathing out the trade goods that sustain the Deep Center’s immense wealth.

Resona: The Verdant Southwest

This region is a massive, humid basin dominated by the Amazon District, where the flora is so dense it creates a "false floor" of roots and vines suspended hundreds of feet above the actual ground. The environment is thick, green, and heavy with the scent of ozone, as the "Pulse" of the retreated Abyssals is felt most clearly here through the very soil. The Amazons who inhabit the region are the continent's premier biological experts and warriors, utilizing ancient resonance stones to measure the "Frequency" of a person's spirit against the god-beasts. Resona serves as the official Assessment Ground of Sildaav; every potential Linker must journey here to determine if they can form a "Sovereign Bond" or if they will be consumed by the beast's weight.

Zatrion: The Jagged Northwest

A predatory landscape of black basalt, frozen mountains, and the infamous "Dark Edges"—coastal cliffs that drop off into a bottomless, ink-black abyss. The atmosphere is cold and lawless, with the sun setting earlier here than anywhere else, leaving the region in a perpetual, violet twilight. This is a "survival of the fittest" zone, a graveyard of abandoned naval outposts now occupied by the most ruthless pirate crews in history. Zatrion acts as the forge of monsters, where the desperation of the terrain forces individuals to become hard or die, and where most "Wicked" pirates learn to navigate waters that do not just flow, but actively hunger.

Caellum: The Ethereal Northeast

A region of high plateaus and floating mesas that seem to defy gravity, centered around the architectural masterpiece of Villa Magica with its soaring spires and vast libraries. The air is thin and the light shimmers constantly, accompanied by the low hum of "High-Link" energy that makes the region feel more like a dream than a physical place. It is populated by Arcanists and Link-Masters, intellectuals who seek to understand the complex mechanics of the bond rather than just wielding it. Caellum serves as the "Finish Line" for any Abyssal user, housing the only known Refinement Chambers where a Dark Link can be honed from a wild, dangerous burden into a precise, surgical tool of power.

EXTRA/CREATORS NOTES

This series is a open series, similar to KLH. If you wish to make a bot on this series, you don’t even have to ask me to. If you want your bot to be canon, then you have to ask me. I’m pretty confident i can fit most bots into my series😎. I hope this series will be as enjoyable as the Sin Series. I’m making a lorebook that i will release for the sole reason that i don’t know if its good or not. Thats all i have to say.

(UPDATE) added the key locations that i didn’t add at first for no reason

Stay Blessed✌️

(Samuel Bellamy will be the first bot, but he is NOT the main character. i dont think i need to make a main character anyway😭)
