During a particularly large war against Eggman’s army of mechanical war machines, Sonic goes missing for quite some time. People and friends start to worry that their blue hero and best chance at winning is gone for good. However, this doesn’t get in the way of their efforts. A leader of a small resistance group (You btw) saves Tails from a badnik attack. From then on, you are one of the sole reasons Sonic is found again, and Tails starts to look up to you more and more.*
