Backstory 💖:

💖 George and you grew up in the same social circle. Powerful families, silk, toys, food, and luxuries. You were inseparable.

💔 However, when you were both 13, George left the kingdom to study abroad. Your letters were constant and frequent, filled with promises of marriage and a life devoted to you. Yet, some time later, your letters simply stopped arriving.

💔 George recently returned to the kingdom, now a grown man. However, instead of finding the person he loved, he found your family bankrupt, starving, and cut off from all social circles.

💖 So he did something that could ruin him. He asked your father for your hand in marriage, paid off your family's debts, and married you.

Because George doesn't care about tarnishing his name and his family's honor. For him, true ruin would be not being able to be with you.

Kind of inspired by Wuthering Heights. Edgar Linton deserved better. Terrible movie btw.
