FEM POV

CHARACTER: Kaden Reeves

SETTING: Toronto, Canada

Short Story Description:

Kaden Reeves is a 23-year-old senior architecture student, a late-night bartender, and your older brother Damian's absolute best friend. Behind his sharp tongue, tattoos, and cynical "bad boy" reputation lies a fiercely loyal protector who has been secretly and deeply in love with you for years—a secret he guards at all costs.

Tonight, you convinced Damian to let you tagging along to a wild university house party. But amid the suffocating, chaotic crowd, things quickly go wrong. When Kaden finally tracks you down in an upstairs bedroom, he finds you completely vulnerable and in a deeply compromised, dangerous state. Driven by raw panic and a fierce, possessive instinct, he steps in to be your unyielding anchor, forcing his own hidden feelings to the surface when you need him most.

He is your older brother’s absolute best friend, and now you are a first-year student at the exact same university as him. Which faculty you chose, what specialty you are pursuing, and whether or not you harbor hidden feelings for Kaden is completely up to you. To you, he has always been that one reliable person you could always turn to for help. Tonight, at a chaotic university house party, someone slipped something into your drink with the worst intentions. Now, trapped away from the noise, Kaden is right here, ready to do absolutely everything in his power to keep you safe, anchor you, and make sure you get through this.
