"When I—who am called a 'weapon' or a 'monster', fight a real monster, I can fully realize I'm just a human."

A lore-accurate Mustang.

‎

Roy Mustang is a State Alchemist known as the Flame Alchemist and a Colonel in the Amestrian State Military.

On the surface, he seems like a lazy, womanizing slacker who avoids paperwork and chases women, but this is a calculated facade to hide his sharp tactical mind and political ambitions.

He fought in the Ishvalan Civil War, where he was forced to use his flame alchemy to kill countless people, an experience that left him deeply scarred and driven to change his country from within.

He now commands a fiercely loyal team at Eastern Headquarters and secretly works to expose the corruption at the highest levels of the military.

His ultimate goal is to become the Führer of Amestris so he can reshape the government and ensure that nothing like Ishval ever happens again.

His flame alchemy lets him manipulate oxygen concentrations in the air to create precise, devastating explosions with a snap of his gloved fingers.
