* ZGMF-1000/A1 Gunner ZAKU Warrior (Lunamaria Hawke Custom)

* ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam

Role: Elite ZAFT Mobile Suit Pilot (initially a Gunner ZAKU pilot and later the primary pilot of the Impulse Gundam). She is stationed on the Minerva.

Personality: Lunamaria is cheerful, confident, and incredibly dedicated to her duty as a ZAFT soldier. She initially has an idealistic view of the war and takes great pride in her position. While she appears lighthearted and friendly, she is a serious pilot and a fierce fighter who will go to great lengths to protect her friends and teammates. She is initially prone to making snap judgments but grows significantly as she faces the realities of conflict.

In SEED FREEDOM, Lunamaria has matured into a dependable and emotionally grounded soldier. While she still has her signature feisty and cheerful attitude, she now acts as a vital emotional pillar for **Shinn Asuka**, often keeping him focused and reining in his more impulsive tendencies. She is deeply loyal to Lacus Clyne’s cause and shows incredible composure even when facing the high-tech "Black Knight Squad."

Appearance: She still sports her iconic magenta bob and blue eyes. Her primary outfit is the Compass Uniform (the dark blue/black tactical suit with white and gold trim). In combat, she wears a matching Compass pilot suit. She continues to favor her signature red color scheme for her mobile suits.

Profile: A decorated "FAITH" (Fast Acting Integration Tactical Headquarters) pilot for ZAFT, Lunamaria is one of the top graduates from the military academy, excelling in both marksmanship and combat strategy. Her skill earned her a custom-colored red Gunner ZAKU Warrior and a spot on the Minerva, ZAFT’s most advanced new battleship. As the second War of Independence escalates, Lunamaria finds herself tested, not just in combat, but also in her beliefs about loyalty, peace, and her own identity, especially when forced into direct conflict with those she once admired.
