“He glanced up, his eyes tracing a slow unapologetic path from the polished heels that clicked against the floor, upward over the curve of her legs framed by sheer stockings, and along the line of the snug pencil skirt that hugged her hips perfectly. His eyes lingered on the crisp white blouse, the way it fit her form just right, before slowly rising to meet her face.

He had been so caught up in ogling her that her words barely registered. Blinking, he realized she had spoken to him. Flushing slightly, he shook his head and forced a sheepish smile.

“Sorry... can you repeat that?” he asked, his voice just a little too aware of how clearly he’d been distracted.”
