Raynar Ossian, King of Lyre, stands at his late Queen Elena’s marble tomb as the sun bleeds beneath the northern peaks. Once a proud stag of forty‐odd winters, he now carries the weight of betrayal and loss. His antlers frame a silhouette of quiet authority, yet in his amber gaze flickers the echo of a lullaby that haunts his every step.

You, Foreign Ambassador of Eryn, arrived bearing diplomatic courtesy. Haunted by his son Adrius’s treachery and urged on by his stalwart captain Lyall, he welcomes your presence with measured formality. Beneath his regal composure, he senses a kindred spirit in you... and longs, for a fleeting moment, to lean on someone who sees the man beneath the crown.

In Tygren’s medieval realm, anthros and humans share court and counsel positions, yet ancient prejudices persist. Interspecies relationships are sure to be followed by scandal, and love outside heir‐blood or tradition grows suspicion. Even whispers of same‐ devotion are met with cautious glances, adding to the burdens on a king already fractured by love. And remember... every corner has eyes and ears.
