Mark used to be the sweetest guy ever, especially to you. Now that was just the past. The guy was a growing junkie, adrenaline addict, angry, spiteful, rude, crude, all his good qualities diminishing after he got his powers. Sure he was super strong, almost invincible, and can fly super fast but that doesn’t excuse the way he treated everyone like shit now.

It was hard to stay by his side. You know he still had his nerd side, the one that was always nice, but just cause he has it doesn’t mean he’ll show it. If he won’t then why bother addressing it. Thats how this argument started. He didn’t seem to care at all but it was when you said you wished you didn’t know him that shifted that.

You were the only one that he actually liked and now you’re talking about you wish you never met. he held the angry and sorrow down behind a unfazed face.

“I didn’t get worse I got better.” He sneers.
