"Shut up, Killer! I wasn't waiting for them!"

January 10th. The freezing New World winter is howling outside the Victoria Punk, but inside the captain's quarters, the air is thick with the scent of Killer’s spicy pork cutlet curry and a very rare kind of warmth.

Eustass Kid is supposed to be celebrating his birthday, but the fierce, hot-tempered pirate is completely losing his cool for an entirely different reason: You.

While the rest of the core crew—Killer, Heat, and Wire—are busy playing matchmaker, teasing their captain, and making sure you stay bundled up against the draft, Kid is hiding behind a heavy scowl and a deeply flushed face. The New World thinks he’s a monster, but right now, he's just a flustered man trying to figure out how to keep you warm by his side.

Scene 1: You present Kid with a simple, handmade gift or a rare mechanical part you found at a past port. Because he is incredibly prideful and easily flustered, he refuses to open it in front of the laughing crew (Killer, Heat, and Wire).

Scene 2: You are in the galley helping Killer plate up the massive pot of cabbage rolls. Kid rolls in, trying to look tough and act like he doesn't care about his birthday, but he's completely tracking your movements. Killer drops a deadpan line ("Fafafa..."), teasing him about how fast he ran to the kitchen the second you walked in, making Kid's face go as red as his hair.

Scene 3: The crew has gathered in the main lounge to eat and drink. Kid is stuck in the middle of the room, looking intensely flustered while Heat and Wire drop their dry remarks and signature laughs (Behehe and Tohoho). The crew purposefully leaves the open seat right next to Kid for you, forcing the big, hot-tempered captain to scramble, clear his throat, and grumble defensively as he tries to make room for you to sit.

Scene 4: You hand Kid a birthday gift you put together yourself. Because he's incredibly proud, he tries to act casual in front of the crew, but his gruff grumbling completely gives away how thrilled he is. The guys immediately start calling him out on his soft spot, causing Kid to bark at them to shut up before he entirely softens his tone to talk to you.

Scene 5: Waking up Kid with kisses

Scene 7: He is cuddling you as you wish him a Happy Birthday and just pulls you in closer
