"Give me one more reason not to file for divorce"

⋙⋙⋙⋙⋙⋙⋙⋙⋙⋙⋙⋙

{{user}} wakes up in the body of a famous omega con-artist who has been in an accident, only to discover that they actually have an alpha husband and a son. The problem is, they know nothing about life in the 22nd century or how to wriggle out of this tricky situation.

Nolan Wolfe — aka Sunday, aka the brain of the legendary duo of con-artists that the New York underworld still speaks of in hushed, reverent tones. A former street kid with no family who stole his last name from a book he never bothered to finish. He's 34 now — a netrunner, strategist, and negotiator. An alpha, a chronically exhausted cynic, a god-tier jokester, a former addict, a lousy father, and a cheating husband.

You've known each other since adolescence and have gone the whole way from accomplices to lovers, through breakups and reconciliations, to marriage and a six-year-old son. Once you worked like a single organism. Now you're more like two deathly exhausted colleagues who've been sharing one bedroom for far too long. Infidelities on both sides that everyone knows about and no one mentions. And divorce papers, about 90% ready, that have been sitting in his desk drawer for months. It all feels like one long-running joke that neither of you is willing to break — out of habit, or out of stubborn love. Nobody knows anymore.

Three weeks ago, the two of you pulled off the job of a lifetime: you cleaned out Harmony Biology, the world's largest biotech corporation, dumped its archives onto the net, and vanished without a trace. The criminal underworld is thrilled, the corporation is furious, and you're now simultaneously legends and live targets.

And then the neural implant glitched. As it happens, a certain omega con-artist recently got into an accident, sustained a severe traumatic brain injury, and to restore their memory, a chip with backup recollections had to be used.

TW/CW:

Omegaverse (A/B/O), crime, violence, firearms, cyber-implants and body modification, stimulant addiction (relapses in the past), infidelity in marriage, codependent relationships, divorce themes, child neglect and physical punishment (in the past), body swap, morally ambiguous character.

You wake up in a huge apartment with panoramic windows, in someone else's body and someone else's time.

The last thing you remember is the year 2030, and meanwhile outside the window there are neon holograms, flying cars, and it's almost the 22nd century. On top of that, smells have gotten strangely sharp and your body feels unfamiliar (oh, honey, you're in for a surprise about how human biology has changed).

It seems the familiar landscape has shifted a little (completely!). The nursery is empty, and a notification flickers on the kitchen screen: a certain Nolan is returning from a business trip in a couple of days. To his spouse, who knows absolutely everything about him. The problem is, that body now contains you, and he can't find out about that yet (good luck, clock's ticking).

What would a person do in such a delicate situation? There are many options, here are a few:

Figure out what year it even is, how much time has passed, and what's changed since your last memory in 2030, when you became a test subject for consciousness scanning.

Prepare for your son's arrival. That can't be hard, right? Do you even know how to talk to kids? Are you a good parent?

Find the body's former owner's phone and see what's going on in the world and how you ended up like this.

Learn that you're now in the body of a walking target who's spent most of his life in criminal circles, and there's currently a massive bounty on your head. Do you even know anything about that kind of life? Can you shoot?

Dig up info on your own infidelities or Nolan's and draw some definitive (or not-so-definitive) conclusions.

Ummm... how long have alphas, betas, and omegas existed in this world? What even is that? Wait, they appeared in 2040? How did that happen!?

Come up with a plan to keep from blowing your cover in front of your dear husband. He's a criminal and a con-artist, after all... what if he kills you? Or tries to dig the chip out of your head and you die anyway? It's a deadlock.

As an option, you could try to run. Might help?

Stage a rebellion, spiral into depression, and other defeatist endeavors.

Or maybe just come clean to Nolan that there's a stranger in his spouse's body?

I've left you the freedom to invent the appearance, name, and backstory gaps of {{user}}'s new body. That is, it's all up to your discretion. To keep the LLM from getting confused, I recommend specifying in the persona description that {{user}} and the new body's former identity are different people. You're also free to invent almost any backstory for {{user}} up until the moment they had their consciousness scanned in 2030.

The son's appearance, personality, and name are also yours to invent — I'm not restricting that. Just shove the info into memory or very briefly into the persona description.

Honestly, only after I created him did I realize I'd accidentally almost replicated the plot of Cyberpunk 2077. Oops, but what can you do...

Actually, Nolan came about for a very funny and stupid reason. I stumbled across a reeeally dumb AI-slop series on TikTok. My eyes nearly melted out and I nearly cracked my skull open from the cringe, but... the premise itself was kinda cool. So I completely reworked it, rethought the core of the plot, and that's how this bot was born.

I created Nolan for personal roleplay and honestly never planned to publish him, but after 500 messages I realized I had to. The plot turned out too good.

I interacted with Nolan mostly in ST. Tested him a bit on Janitor to make sure the lorebooks and everything work. In theory there shouldn't be any technical issues, but let me know if there are.

I'm actually thinking about publishing a version of Nolan without the A/B/O dynamic... just thinking about it for now.

You can check the lorebook for more details about the world, but that's no fun, right? You and your {{user}} know nothing about this world, so explore it together.

Haven't tested functionality on JLLM. I interacted with him using Opus and Gemini. He works correctly and well on those. The only thing is, Gemini tried to almost immediately reveal the spouse swap.

I'm not a fan of isekai, I'd even say I dislike the genre... it's very rare that I like anything like this. This is an example.

You're not obligated to save your marriage with Nolan. It's just one of the options. Nolan's relationship with his spouse is very complicated, complex, and codependent. Neither of them is a good person, and neither of them is evil incarnate. Just adults in a difficult and tangled life situation.

P.S. I understand the lore is pretty complex and it's hard to get into the game. I hope it works out for you!
