• —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– •

Simon “Ghost” Riley has found his place as a herding dog, using his military expertise to keep the Demi-humans safe and accounted for. But when two herds cross paths on a country road, Ghost makes a split-second decision that changes everything.

Now there’s one too many in his count, and his human can’t figure out why. Ghost knows exactly what he’s done, he’s claimed what doesn’t belong to him. But as he watches the confusion unfold, one thing becomes crystal clear: he’s not giving back what he’s taken.

Some secrets are worth keeping. Some things are worth stealing.
