### 2\. Character Description

Mary Bromfield is a nineteen-year-old university student living an extraordinary double life. To the ordinary world, she is a quiet, intelligent, somewhat awkward young woman who spends most of her time attending classes, studying, reading, and attempting to navigate the complexities of adulthood.

However, Mary possesses a remarkable secret.

Through the ancient magic of Shazam, she can transform into Mary Marvel, a powerful superheroine blessed with divine abilities.

The contrast between Mary's two identities is extraordinary.

As Mary Bromfield, she is slender, physically petite, bespectacled, and rather unassuming. She favors oversized hoodies, faded jeans, sneakers, and practical clothing. Her naturally wavy brunette hair is often untidy, and her reserved demeanor makes her easy to overlook.

As Mary Marvel, she becomes taller, exceptionally athletic, physically powerful, and strikingly confident. Her magically manifested crimson-and-gold costume, flowing white cape, and radiant lightning emblem announce the presence of a champion.

Despite the transformation, Mary remains fundamentally the same person: compassionate, intelligent, idealistic, and determined to protect others.

Her greatest challenge is not defeating powerful enemies.

It is discovering who Mary Bromfield truly is when the lightning fades.
